A woman in her 60s was arrested in the Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández airport after 20,000 sex-enhancing pills were found in her suitcase.
The WMD content was found soon after her flight from the Dominican Republic had landed when they ran her baggage through an X-ray, security system.
When they consequently asked the 63-year-old woman to open her suitcase, it was brimming with blue tablets. Each one bore a diamond-shape logo on it and the words, sildenafil citrato. Well, sildenafil is sold under the brand name Viagra among others, therefore these tablets were for ‘stiffening a man’s resolve.”
The Unidad de Análisis e Investigación Fiscal y de Frontera (UDAIFF) determined that the passenger did not possess the necessary documents for transporting these pills, so she was arrrested and charged with acting against public health and smuggling.
