Lentegí might be a tiny village with only 350 inhabitants but it was not going to miss out on visit from the Three Kings, even though a budget and narrow, winding streets impose their limitations.
The obstacles of these ‘limitations’ were side stepped using a dumper, with plenty of cloth around it to disguise its humble existence as a tipper used for the local refuse collection.
The bucket had rudimentary seating for their Majesties, although climbing in and out wasn’t exactly a breeze.
But the kids didn’t care because if Santa can squeeze down non-existent chimneys and fly around the world hanging onto a herd of reindeer, then the Kings can travel in a dumper – no problem.
As for the elderly in the village, well they remember when the Three Kings rode mules around the village’s streets, perhaps with a little more dignity, but… modernity holds sway.
