The police have arrested a man suspected of having taken potshots at spectators at a football match with an airgun last month.

The match was one between children (12-year olds) at the Inacua Antonio Prieto football ground in the centre of Granada on Saturday the 9th. The shots were fired around 20:30h.

The two victims were a couple and the man was hit by .22 airgun pellets in the shoulder and his wife in the thigh.

The Policía Nacional began police operation, Soccer, ending in the arrest last Thursday of a 47-year-old man, who already has a criminal record.
