Malagueña, María Torres, who has won the World Karate Championships, not once but twice, will be showing those that attend how to ‘kick ass’

This is happening in Nerja at the municipal sports pavilion, Ciudad Deportiva Enrique López Cuenca. This one-off, defence workshop was presented by the Councillor for Sports, Marcelo Berutti, and the Councillor for Equality, Daniel Rivas, whose heads we have chopped off in the photo to get you into the spirit of things.

The workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to learn fundamental self-defence techniques, based on the principles of karate and martial arts by a world champion, so you can bet that María knows her stuff.
