Alzheimer’s Sufferer Found

The police launched a large, search operation to find a 60-year-old woman, suffering from Alzheimer's who had disappeared in Málaga.

María de los Ángeles Mora had wandered off in the city of Málaga on Thursday. She had walked out of the A&E Department in Hospital Clínico, but was found on Friday in good health, apart from her medical condition.

It was around 13.30h that the police received an alert via their 092 number from the security guards at the Pompidou Museum saying that a woman fitting the description of the missing woman had been in the museum.

Quickly, the search area was moved to the port and downtown area, resulting in her being found in the Plaza Gerónimo Cuervo.

The police immediately took her back to the Hospital Clínico for a check-up.
