A 31-year-old man was arrested in Salobreña, suspected of stealing a horse buggy during the Romeria de Mayo 2024 in Rocío (Huelva).

The suspect had allegedly been trying to sell it online from Salobreña. The owner of the stolen vehicle had recognised it and informed the Guardia Civil in Salobreña.

Police investigation located the stolen horse cart in a stable within the municipality of Salobreña, as well as identifying the person trying to sell it.

The buggy was returned to its rightful owner and the suspect, now in police custody, has taken his right to make no declaration and has offered no explanation how he had obtained it.
