Transport Strike

The national and municipal bus companies, Rober and Alsa, will be joining the transport strike on Monday.

The two unions, Comisiones Obreras and Unión General de Trabajadores announced that the workers’ committe for these two companies have voted unanimously to second the lorry-driver strike over early retirement.

The planned strike action, as mentioned in a previous article, will take place on the Monday the 28th and then on the 11th, 28th and 29th of November, as well as on the 5th, 9th and 23rd of December.

If there is no accord is struck by then, the strike will continue on idefinitely from Christmas Eve onwards.
