Asier Duarte from the Basque Country and Luis Barbero from La Herradura will be participating in the Dakar 2025.

They will be driving and copiloting the second vehicle for the TH-Trucks R-Team VR Racing team in the Classics Category.

They showed off their beastie the Paseo Andrés Segovia in La Herradura before setting off for the II RallyClassics África, which was held in the second week of September in Morocco. This is considered a practice event for the Dakar 2025 rally.

This Moroccan event was an opportunity to put the 4×4 through its paces, especially through sand, as well as test team coordination. They spent several days training on sand dunes there.

This is the second consecutive year that they have manned one of the official vehicles belonging to TH-Trucks R-Team VR Racing.
