The Sports Department of Almuñécar Town Hall recommences this Sunday its hiking programme from here to next summer.

The Programa de Senderismo 2024 took a break over summer, for obvious reasons, but has planned a hike around the Pueblos del Poqueira in La Alpujarra Granadina for Sunday the 22nd.

This organised hiking event will take in the centenary chestnut trees, as well as apple orchards, for example, along its circular route.

The hike will take approximately five hours, starting in Pampaneira and from there along the Camino Real de Bubión, Fuente Hondera, Capileira, Puente de Chiscal and the Puente de Pampaneira, explained the guide-coordinator, Javier del Castillo.
