An Irish girl of only around 12 years of age fell to her death from the 7th floor of a hotel in Mallorca.

The accident occurred just before 06.43h which is when the emergency services received a call out to a hotel situated on Avenida Tucà, in the town of Alcúdia on the said island.

There  was nothing that the ambulance paramedics could do  for the victim, given the height from which she had fallen 

What caused her to fall is not known at the moment and a pyschologist has been assigned to her parents. The Guardia Civil are handling the investigation.
