If your pet does not have its anti-rabies jab, then by law it requires one and tomorrow an official vet will visit Lobres to administer them.

In order to receive a jab, your dog or cat needs to be chipped. Furthermore the vaccination will cost 18 euros. If the pet does not have a chip, the vet can provide one with a total cost of 29 euros.

“These initiatives have the aim of bringing the obligatory requirements to locals, especially those that do not have the means of taking their animal to a vet,” explained the First Councillor for this municipal dependency of Salobreña, Nelson Ligero.

This campaign is thanks to the Colegio Oficial de Veterinarios de Granada, which provide veterinary services to administer these vaccines, as well as the Animal Welfare Department of the Town Hall.
