Motril Airshow Access & Parking

This Sunday is the Motril Airshow, which normally has over 100,000 spectators so if you're taking your car, you will need to know where to park.

First of all, try and get there at least two hours before if you want to find where to park and a spot to watch the display from.

There are three access roads; one is the port road, another is the Rambla de Las Brujas (which you can get on where it passes right next to Alcampo), and there is the Playa Granada road, leading down from the N-340 junction with the A-44. This last option splits into two and either will take you down to the beach areas.

As for where to park, there’s a parking area near Restaurante Katena, as well as on the paseo in front of the camping establishments. There’s limited parking in front of Chiringuito Hoyo-19, as well as next to Villa Astrida, and entering from the lane beginning next to the Moriscos golf course.

Where you can’t park is in front of Chiringuito Espeto for logistical reasons connected with the airshow.

But if you don’t want all the hassle of trying to find where to park, then take a bus from Motril centre or a taxi either from your hometown or from one of the underground car parks in the town centre.
