Pets & Motril Port

Motril Port, thanks to an accord with shipping companies running the ferries, will allow tourists to bring pets in, in order to "favour the arrival of tourists."

MOT Ferry 400x250The port has spent 50,000 euros adapting their facilities to this end.

Up to the end of April, at total of 30,187 passengers had used these ferry services, which is 87% up on during the same period the previous year. As for vehicles coming through the port, there were 9,600, which represents a 149% increase.

The Port of Melilla continues to be the preferred connection, accounting for 15,000 passengers, followed by Nador, then Alhucemas and Tangiers.
