Councillor for Commerce, Lucía González, together with the Chairperson of the Asociación de Hosteleros del Valle Tropical, Jorge Rodríguez, presented the XXV Feria Gastronómica de Almuñécar.

This year, 20 stands will participate, and with 80% of last year’s participantes having already confirmed their presence in the Parque El Majuelo this year, there are still (at the time of writing) places left for more potential participants.

The Vice Chairman of the Asociación, José Muñoz Frontana, said, “Besides inviting Cariñena wines, D.O. de vinos de Granada, has already confirmed that they will be present to the Asociación de Hosteleros del Valle Tropical.

Sr. Muñoz Frontana added that the event, besides kickstarting the summer season, it will give new businesses in the sector a chance to make themselves known to the general public.

Lastly, he said that the price of one euro per drink will be maintained this year, too, to “incentivise” people to visit the park on the day.
