The section of the GR-30 Autovía that gives access to the Nevada Shopping Centre when coming from the coast has now been reopened.

This down ramp was closed to traffic on the 15th of January and scheduled to reopen in three weeks, so the reopening was on time.

The work being carried out was to build a cycle/pedestrian tunnel under the autovía, providing a safe crossing point between the said shopping centre and the PTS San Cecilio General Hospital.

The main roundabout, mind, beneath the autovía, remains a nightmare for drivers.

These roadworks had a budget of 3.44-million euros and were co-financed through Next Generation EU funds.
