The Mayor of Motril, Luisa García Chamorro, announced that the Town Council has bought twelve new motorbikes for the Policía Local.
All of them are Hondas and are of two different cylinders sizes (c/c): NC750X and the FORZA350; that’s ten of the former and two of the latter, which are Honda scooters.
This will cost 70,000 euros a year over four years, as they are leased from the company Granada Comunicaciones S.U.
Editorial comment: why do municipal policemen need 750s? It’s not as if they have to go on an autovia or a lengthy trip on a main road, is it?
