The supports under the bridge over Río Seco where it passes under Avenida Costa del Sol have been repaired.

The Councillor for Public Works, Francisco Rodríguez, announced that the work as carried out, classified as “urgent and structural,” had been necessary as the support girders/beams under the bridge had become corroded during the passage of time.

Councillor Rodríguez pointed out that the purpose of the bridge-improvement work is part of a future project to replace the T-junction with Avenida de Guadix with a roundabout.

Finally, the repair work which included cleaning up and reinforcing the mortar and concrete supports cost some 50,000 euros.
