Motril Town Council has given the go-ahead for two new gasolineras, which will be situated in the Vadillo Trading Estate.
One will be on Calle Santo Domingo and the other on the Carretera de Almería; in other words, the old N-340 when it went through Motril town centre, also known as Kilometro Cero. Calle Santo Domingo, by the way, is the one that runs parallel to the main drag (Carretera de Almería)
This is all tied in with urban expansion which includes the new eastern bypass, Damián Carmona Avenue, which links the Ronda del Sur where it reaches the Almería Road and connects it with the eastern connection with the A-7 Autovía.
The Council approved a licence for Petroprix Energía and for Transgourmet Iberica after receiving a favourable environmental-impact study for their inclusion within El Vadillo industrial estate.
Mayor Luisa García Chamorro said, “Motril continues to arouse the interest of investors and proof of this is the noticeable growth in different areas of the town.”
