A man who is obviously a look-at-me merchant was fined for skidding in circles, burning rubber off his tyres; i.e., doing doughnuts.
Not only will he soon have to replace his tyres, but he will also have to pay a fine of over 2,000 euros.
It was not only because he was “driving improperly” as the fine states, but because he had no valid ITV nor insurance.
So, you have to ask yourself, what kind of person draws attention to himself behind the wheel of a car that he is illegally using on public roads? Not a very bright one, evidently.
Anyway, this incident took place on Monday night along Calle Joaquina Eguaras in the city of Granada.
Local Police officers stopped the white Volkswagen in the middle of one of his stunts. It was upon inspecting the car documents that it came to light that the ITV was out of date and had no valid road insurance.
The fine broke down as 500 for reckless driving, 200 for no ITV and 1,500 for no insurance. On top of that, he was charged 106 euros for the tow-truck services when his car was impounded. Finally, he lost six points off his driving licence.
In the front passenger seat, by the way, was a young man with a clasp knife with a 20cm-long blade, hidden under the waistband of his trousers. It was confiscated and he will also face a fine.
