A paraglider enthusiast came down on the abrupt shoreline of Torrenueva Costa yesterday morning and who was rescued by the Motril fire service.
The accident occurred not long before 11.45h, which was when 112 received a call, on a shoreline barranco between Torrenueva Costa and Carchuna, not far from the N-340 main road.
Also involved in the rescue, which ended with the injured person being taken to Hospital de Santa Ana in Motril, were the Policía nacional, the Motril fire service and a 061 ambulance.
