Fans of this Swedish, home-product company will not have to travel to Málaga because its branch in the Nevada shopping centre in Granada opens this month.
The inauguration is set for the 27th of July, after spending 11.3m euros setting it up. IKEA del Nevada Shopping, with its 3,700 metres of shop-floor space, will have 80 members of staff.
It has another 1,800 sq/m of storeroom space, as well – in fact, it’s bigger than either of the two shops in the centre of Madrid one on Calle Goya and the other on Calle Las Rozas.
Anybody who goes shopping there will have almost 2,120 items on sale to choose from, which they can take with them or have them delivered, arriving the next day.
To round it off, this IKEA outlet will even have its own bar/restaurant called Swedish Deli, serving, as its name suggests, Swedish cuisine.
Anyway, that’s enough on them! You might prefer buying your furniture and home articles locally, which is preferable, but if you’re planning on taking your wife to the Nevada Shopping Centre, to let her loose, *Gasp!* whilst you sneak off to the cinema to kill two hours…
