The Central Government has just announced the end to all covid-related restrictions ending obligatory mask use in pharmacies and hospitales, etc.

Yesterday the Board of Ministers gave the go-ahead for this move to be published in the BOE (Official State Gazette) which will happen today, ending the last of the measures imposed on the 4th of May, 2020.

Both the unanimous backing from regional health boards and a recommendation by the Centro de Coordinación de Alertas y Emergencias Sanitarias (CCAES) had concluded that further restrictions were unnecessary.

In other words, three years down the line, the Pandemic has officially ended in Spain… until the next one, that is.
