Their club originated from an older club, Forjidos (Outlaws) which closed down eight years ago and their motto is Loyalty, Honour & Respect. But they are just one branch of Club Fugitivos across the country; in Málaga, Barcelona, Jerez, Córdoba and Almería, whom they visit for bike meets.
Their organisational structure is Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary Sergeant-at-Arms, Treasurer and Route Captain, which sounds pretty well structured!
As said above, their outings are based around visiting other club mainly on weekends – they went to Córdoba mid month last month, for example.
They were interviewed one Monday last month on Radio Salobreña in the La Costa en Vivo programme and were at pains to lay to rest the bad boys image that often gets associated with motorcycle clubs. They pointed out that club rules are respected more even than other clubs.
In order to become a member, you only need a custom bike with a greater CC than 500, although each newcomer has to pass a probation period where they have to learn the club rules.
For those interested, their club premises is on Avenida Federico García Lorca and they meet up once a week on Fridays and encourage any two-wheel enthusiast to pop in and see what its all about.
