Half a dozen cyclists belonging to the Club AC La Herradura have been pedalling around Asturias for a week, up on the northern coast of Spain.
The object has been to practice on some of the region’s most emblematic mountain passes: Lagos de Covadonga (1,053m in altitude and 19km in length) and Angliru (1,573m/12.5 km).
The six cyclists (Antonio Barbero Iranzo, Iván Ruiz, Félix Aranda, Pepe García, César Higeño and David Barbero) also cycled up to Sotres, which is the highest village in Asturias.
They all considered it a difficult but extraordinary experience.
