We published an article last month about changes in Salobreña Old Town that were going to come into affect. Well now they have.
The main change, which is a wise one, is that the main access to the old town via Calle Ladera de la Cruz will return to one-way use; i.e. you can no longer drive down it – we’re talking about next to the Radio Salobreña building.
If you want to drive down from the Old Town, you have to use Calle Antequera, which is the one that leads down from the Paseo de Las Flores (Restaurante La Traviesa) all the way down to a T-junction where you can turn left for La Guardia and El Camino de Gambullón.
Furthermore, signs have been in place since August at the beginning of Calle Agrela, which gives access to the Plaza del Museo, making it for residents only.
Anyway, have a shufty at the original article from September for full details.
