The Motril Policía Local were called out to rescue a baby from inside a locked car after the keys had been accidentally locked inside.
The incident took place on Wednesday the 20th just before 12.40h, which was when the Policía Local received a call from the distraught woman to say that the 2-year-old had remained locked-in for the last 15 minutes.
When the police patrol arrived it was to see the baby sweating inside the car with an outside temperature of 32º, so it was much hotter inside. They immediately smashed the window in order to get the baby out.
Whilst they waited for the amublance to arrive the police officers hydrated the child, attempting to calm both the baby as well as the child’s relative who was looking after it.
