Fire personnel from the Bomberos del Consorcio Provincial (CPB) were busy tackling a fire in the municipal-bus depot in Nerja yesterday.
The fire broke out a little before 15.00h in the municipal-bus depot next to the Río Chillar within the urban area of Nerja.
The fire caused a considerable amount of smoke, clearly visible from several kilometres around.
The Málaga-area, fire service announced on their twitter account around 17.30h that they had finished putting out the blaze.
As a precaution some nearby dwellings were temporarily evacuated. Regarding the damage, at least one minibus, several trailers and two cars were destroyed, as well as a small bulding badly affected by the fire.
At present it is not known what caused the fire.
