A quick glance at the table below will show that contagion numbers are dropping, not only on the Costa Tropical and the Alpujarra, but all over Spain.

This afternoon the Central Government will try to approve the obligatory use of masks in exteriors; it was introduced using a Royal Decree which does not require parliamentary approval to issue but does require it after two weeks in force.

However, they will have a hard time of it as most other political parties consider that it is unnecessary, especially the Spanish right (PP, VOX & Ciudadanos).

Of course, the obligatory use of masks inside bars, restaurants, etc, is not in question.
