This is going to be the afternoon article for today, as the Seaside Gazette; its contributors and advertisers, would like to wish our readers a Merry Christmas.
When I say a Merry Christmas, I mean one that makes you truly happy, regardless of how you spend it and with whom you spend it.
Travel plans to spend this festive period have gone pear shape for many and contact with relatives is likely to be via Internet.
We’re busy at the moment getting the January edition of the Seaside Gazette to the printer in time for it to be out for the 3rd – just about every drop-off point is closed on the 1st as is the case on the 2nd, which is a Sunday.
As for this online edition, we still have a week to go before New Year, so we will bringing you local news every day so don’t forget to visit us for an info top up.

Jennifer: thank you for our best Christmas present this year! I hope not to defraud you and the other Gazette readers through this coming year.
You represent the best in local journalism, you support the community. When times are hard and people have been anxious, your sane, balanced and informative reporting has been really important. Your humourous tongue in cheek stuff is also good for people’s mental health. Thank you to all the team. Happy New Year
