Santa arrived in La Herradura yesterday afternoon, as has become the custom, paddling in on a surf board, accompanied by helpers.

Fortunately, the sea state was calm so he managed to cross the bay, waving to those children gathered on the beach, without coming to grief… in a soggy manner.

Windsurf Herradura has been organising this event since 2016 at least and haven’t lost one Santa yet to Davey Jones Locker.

The next maritime event will be when our Nordic residents go for a quick dip in the briny just to show the rest of us what wimps we are.
