The film in Salobreña Auditorium today at 17.00h is a much awaited one: Respect, the story of Aretha Franklin.
The film is in English with Spanish subtitles and costs five euros. Masks must be worn and sit apart from people you don’t know.
The film starts at 17.00h so please arrive in time so that you don’t miss the beginning or disturb people already watching the film.
To those who supported the British Legion by sponsoring me on the Poppy Walk and bought poppies, many thanks. In total, you donated 377.03 euros. This money is used to support veterans in Spain and in the UK who were injured or needing help resulting from the many wars the UK has fought. It is much needed and well used.
I sent a bag of your donated, used stamps to the bone-cancer charity and will be collecting any used stamps after Christmas. Please leave a centimetre margin around the stamp when you take it from the envelope.
I am still collecting used, reading glasses or any glasses with a frame which can be used again. The cases are not needed, mostly as they are bulky to send. I gave the last donated ones to Hilde in Almunecar whose husband is taking them for use in Morocco.
Many thanks
Diana
