A School with Ideas

La Noria junior school in Almuñécar has decided to brighten things up under new school management, led by Head Teacher, José Muelas Jiménez.

LHR A School with Ideas“Changes in the spaces within the school might appear superficial but they are profound changes in the perception of teaching and the new ways understanding and developing it,” pointed out the Head, adding, “they are fundamental for fostering creativity, welfare and learning amongst pupils.”

The school-management team has counted on the parents association and the Town Hall, through its Environmetal Department, in order to achieve these changes.

“With the available space he school] can move towards the classrooms of the future, based on the Future Classroom Lab belonging to the European Schoolnet,” said the school spokesperson.

So what does this all boil down to? Amongst the changes is the Creative Pizza Area and Kiddies’ Games, which are psychomotor-educational spaces for the younger schoolchildren consisting, amongst other things, outside classsrooms, mini-road-use, educational areas, and video/radio content in the school library.
