The Southern-Granada Health District to which Costa Tropical and La Alpujarra belong, has reached 45% of the population with a double dose.

The percentage of the population with just one dose administered is a little higher at 55%.

Last week, for example between the four different kinds of anti-Covid vaccines available (AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer and Janssen) 16,205 doses were administered.

Amongst them were Erasmus students, who will shortly have to travel abroad to complete their studies as part of the European student-exchange system.

Owing to Brexit, neither UK universities as destinations nor British students who wish to study in EU countries can participate any longer.

For this coming week, mass-vaccination points will be established in the sports facilities or hospitals in the following municipalities: Motril, Almuñécar, Albuñol and Órgiva.
