The lottery, ticket office in Almuñécar, Jofi, has done it again, having sold two 5th prizes for the Christmas draw, El Gordo.

This newsagent-cum-lottery office opened in 1986 and has frequently sold big winners and this year was no different after having sold decimos belonging to 96986 and 43831. But it doesn’t matter how many times they sell a winning ticket, it stills tickles them pink.

María Teresa Gamarra González, who runs the lottery side of the newsagent, pointed out that her family has never won a prize themselves, but they have seen people in need amongst the lucky ones, who have managed to roll back their financial problems, thanks to a lottery win.

In fact, their good luck when it comes to selling winners is getting known so that people from outside the town and beyond are ordering their Christmas lottery tickets from them.
