On the 21st of November the solidarity campaign launched by the Asociación de Comerciantes to gather stocks for the Motril foodbanks concluded successfully.
The association chairwoman, María Arráez, thanked everybody that had collaborated in these times of difficulties that we are living through.
“We have managed to fill hundreds of solidarity boxes and this would not have been possible without the help of our volunteers and customer donors at all the self-service shops,” said the Chairwoman.
The organiser for this event, Amelia Martínez, said that many companies had made donations anonymously, and concluded that “Motril has very good-hearted people.”
The self-service shops that have collaboratedare are: Covirán , Casaher, Casaher Playa, Laguero, Grajo, Supermercado Isabel, Supermercado Gasolinera Repsol, supermercado Paquito and Catena.
