How many people who give positive readings through PCR tests really are infected? Well, there has always been doubt, but now there is more.

Experts know that Covid patients are only infectious for about seven days; i.e. capable of passing on the virus, yet PCR tests are so sensitive that they will literally give a posting on a ‘ghost’ presence. What we mean by this is that a PCR test will find traces of dead virus and give a positive reading leading health authorities to put them in quarantine, unwittingly, using the logic: you’re infected, you could pass it on, go into quarantine.

Ironically, what is needed is a less sensitive test; one that will single out active virus in search of another host, rather than picking up past and present traces. The PCR gives a yes/no answer to the question “is there the slightest evidence of a viral existence?”

Take the case of the Japanese man who was infected and then cured only to travel to Spain some months later and test positive again. Everybody thought that his immunity had expired but what probably happened was that the latest PCR picked up a virus cemetery in the man’s system and reported back, “virus detected.”

Now, having read this far our dear pandemic deniers are pumping up party balloons and laying out farting cushions, but the fact is that the medical authorities (and here we stress “medical”) know that the only indicator of how a pandemic is going is how many hospital cases there are and how many respirators are in use in the ICUs. It’s the “political” authorities that are worried about the restrictions and counter measures, etc.

The medical authorities want to treat patients and the political authorities want to manage the economy, so no, our dear flat earthers, the Government doesn’t want you all locked up at home; they want you out working and generating tax revenue.

This brings us to the other end of the scale; the political strategy. When we were in the Lockdown, going laboriously through Phase Zero, Phase One, etc., the regional authorities were under playing the contagion before the Central Government. They were disguising Covid deaths by not including somebody who died in an ambulance, or on a stretcher in a hospital corridor waiting admittance – they weren’t hospital deaths – just the same as all those people who died in care homes were not included.

Why? For two reasons: to show that the governing party in a particular region was doing its job controlling the pandemic (even when it wasn’t; i.e. Madrid) and, because they wanted to get to the next phase without delay in order to get their regional economy rolling again, thus, rake in taxes.

It costs a staggering amount of money to put a nation into Lockdown and keep it there, not only because of the lack of money coming into public coffers but also because of the economic aid that needs to be paid out to the business sector. No government wants to keep you “under house arrest” as some put it – they want you out there knocking up the IVA revenue.

So, summing up: we now know why the contagion figures through PCRs do not match up to hospital beds occupied but there is no better way than the PCRs for mass testing with quick results in existence.
