Four Moroccan men on two jetskis were intercepted by Salvamento Marítimo, attempting to reach the coast of Granada . The men were taken into Motril Port.
Upon arrival at the port their temperatures were taken, as established by the protocol. They were then handed over to the Policía Nacional who placed them in the temporary holding facilities (CATE) for illegal immigrants within the port area.
Just in the last 48 hours a total of 74 people were caught entering the country illegally from North Africa and are being held at the said facilities, amongst them three women and two young children.
