The Board of Ministers approved yesterday a validity extension of three months to all ITVs that run out between the 21/06/20 and 31/08/20.
Transport companies for goods or passengers will have a priority when it comes to ITV renewal.
This extension is to replace the one made in May, which we reported on at the time. This is to say, for those that run out after the end of August, the original (May) extension will not be applied; i.e., the expiration date on your last ITV will be the valid one for your next ITV:
It is calculated that the Lock Down meant that some five million vehicles missed their ITV renewal.
Anybody who obtained an ITV appointment that fell within the Lock Down, will have to get a new one as logically it is no longer valid.
