The Motril Policía Local and fire service were called out to deal with a large fallen tree on Calle Madreselva (Barrio de las Angustias).

The police reported that despite the size of the tree and the force of the impact against the ground, there were no injuries as nobody had been passing nearby at the time.

This was the second tree to fall last week; on Tuesday, the police and fire service had to deal with a fallen pine tree in the gardened area of Huerta de la Condesa. Again, nobody was injured and the fallen tree had been completely removed in less than 24 hours.
