The Councillor for La Guardia, Ignacio Trujillo, explained that roadworks in that municipal dependency of Salobreña would recommence.

According to the said councillor, this work, consisting of replacing the pavements, would recommence today (25th).

The main square would have new lighting in the form of two lampposts, replacing the single one in the centre of the square.

The work is being carried out by municipal maintenance workers and will take approximately a month, during which time the lane will be closed to traffic. Those wishing to enter La Guardia, therefore, will have to leave their car in the parking area at the entrance.
