Virus or no virus, roadworks in La Herradura have just recommenced along the Paseo Andrés Segovia pavement.
This work is a continuation of what seems the eternal task of replacing the sewage and water-mains, underground infrastructure, coupled with resurfacing the paseo itself.
The work is taking place between the Acera del Pilar (main return road for the N-340 entrance) and Edificio Parra.
“These street works are part of the project that began last year, which included the roundabout on the beach road and the integral renovation of the paseo up to Peña Parda,” explained the First Councillor for the village, Juan José Ruiz Joya.
The project has a budget of 38,867 euros, plus IVA. The company that won the bid was Fircosa Desarrollos S.L but the work is being done by Ensa. (subcontracted?)
