It seems like even the online scammers are finding being confined at home a producive experience: the latest is a Netflix scam.

There is a supposed Netflix offer making the rounds on Whatsapp that is, in fact, a phising virus.

It was the Guardia Civil that has made an alert announcement on their official Twitter account, warning online users not to click on the link.

The content offers free viewing as long as the lock down lasts, as their contributin to “doing their part.”

The link will take the unaware to a false Netflix page which will harvest your data because you will be asked to enter it in order to enjoy this “free offer.”
