Meanwhile, over in Motril, a man allegedly shot his own brother, who is now in the Intensive Care Unit in Motril where his condition is described as ‘serious.’

The incident took place along the Rambla de las Brujas between 17.00 and 17.30h yesterday and was the result of a heated argument between the two brothers, ending with the 47-year-old victim hospitalised.

The aggressor was taken into custody by the Policía Nacional.

There is no further information at the moment concerning the motive behind the shooting or the identities of those involved.
