Have you seen the bus shelter stuck outside of the new mini-station in Salobreña? It’s for municipal bus connections.
In other words, you won’t have to walk all the way over to the main bus station, but will be able to catch a local bus to take you to the Alsina (Alsa) one.
Sticking with Salobreña… in a Plenary Meeting of the Town Council towards the end of last month it was unanimously agree to participate in the Junta’s Plan Itinere, which deals with maintaining rural lanes.
Accordingly, they have applied for a loan from the Junta for work on Camino del Cañón, Camino Pago Sotillos-Vega, and Camino Ferreles (Pago de los Palmares).
The grant comes with condition: it must be a publicly owned lane and require a minimum of 75,000 euros and a maximum of 350,000 euros for its repair. Short lanes and the bigger ones are excluded and repairs must be integral; i.e., it can’t be a simple case of laying a new layer of tarmac or repairing potholes.
