This bank-holiday weekend sees the Mercadillo Medieval, which will run until Monday between 11.00h and 22.00h each day.
The medieval street market is being held, as in previous years, on the Paseo San Cristóbal in front of Hotel Almuñécar Playa and comprises of around 50 stalls.
Besides the handicraft stands, selling everything from soaps, incense and medieval sweet meats, there are also activities such as the falconry stand and of course, the belly dancer knocking out the Arabian Nights equivalent of pole dancing.
And whilst mum is trying to get dads eyes back into their sockets with her elbows, there is a wooden carousel for toddlers!
