Wild boars have been having fun down on Playa Granada, in the area of the golf course, where they have been out ploughing.
The battleground, to be precise, was the Parque Severiano Ballesteros. Park users were surprised to find almost all of the 350-metre long area ploughed up.
Locals living nearby assure that the herd consisted of between ten and a dozen boars.
The sighting of these animals is quite common in the autumn, when they trot out of the vega and raid urbanizaciones and barrios with impunity.
To get a good idea of the damage caused to the park, have a look at Javier Martin’s photos on Ideal.
