MOT Bill Posting FinesMotril is cracking down on illegal bill posting around town, wielding a massive 3,000-euro fine on culprits.

Yes, if your moggy or fideo goes missing, don’t adorn lampposts with their endearing features because you are liable to find a lot of money going missing out of your wallet, as well.

In other words, unless the posters, etc, are on a noticeboard or advertising board destined for precisely this purpose, you could be in for a high jump.

Lamppost will be under close scrutiny from the police because adorning them with the said mutt’s forlorn features or a fringe of detachable phone numbers advertising your services, then you can expect notification from the Town Hall to inform you that you owe them money

Furthermore, to advertise any service or product in public requires a licence to do so.

But cheer up, the maximum fine is 3,000 euros whereas the minimum is only 300, which smarts less.
