Property Developers for a new-build, block of flats on Playa de Granada in Motril have sold all but six of its 104 properties in almost a year.
Things are moving in Motril because until recently the only properties that sold there were second-hand ones.
The boom years had seen an explosion of new properties down on Motril’s beach area, as well as around the town-centre periphery. Yet the last block of flats built down on Playa Granada was in 2010 – after that, not a crane in sight.
Eight years later Edificio de Inmoglacial changed all that, changing the scene from empty building plots.
According to the Town Planning Department, three developers have acquired building licences for the construction of over 300 new dwellings on Playa Granada.
