The Asociación de Amigos de la Playa Nudista de Cantarriján have struck a deal with one of the chiringuitos there so that nudists can eat unencumbered by clothing.

Restaurante La Barraca will provide an area where nudists enter and eat without having to don clothes. More accurately, it’s an dining area where clothing is optional.

“The owner of La Barraca, Isaac Rodríguez, has shown an interest in carrying out a feasibility study on our proposal. It will commence on Saturday the 13th of April, coinciding with Semana Santa and with a beach-cleaning event that we have organised for that day, explained the said association.

The clothes-optional, dining area will function on weekends and if this receives the general acceptance of the beach-goers and restaurant users, it will continue through the whole of summer.

The only requisite is that nudists must provide a towel to sit on; i.e., over the chair.
