Salobreña was woken from its slumber on Friday night by a small herd of wild boars doing midnight tourism through the streets.
A couple of lads were out on the town and captured the piggy incursion on one of their mobile phones and posted it on social media. Although you can’t see the people behind the camera, filming through a car window, you can tell they’re young, thanks to the type of music they have on the car stereo.
But this is not the first time that an outing of boars has trotted through Salobreña because a little over a month ago locals reported it to the Town Hall, who passed on the information to the Environment Branch of the Guardia Civil, Seprona, who set out the next day in search of Miss Piggy & Party, but as wild boars cover around 40 kilometres in one night, there was little hope of finding them.
